(Update) 4/9/2024 – Boil Water Notice Lifted: 28481 and 28487 River Drive.
The Del Oro Water Company – Strawberry Division Water System in conjunction with the State Water Resources Control Board and the Tuolumne County Health Department, has determined that, through abatement of the health hazard and comprehensive testing of the water, your water is safe to drink. It is no longer necessary to boil your tap water or for you to consume bottled water.

4/2/2024 – Repairs Have Been Completed
Main lines are being flushed and water pressure has been returned to normal. Two addresses are under a boil water notice: 28481 and 28487 River Drive.
Lab samples will be taken as required. When results are received showing that the water is safe to consume, the two locations subject to the Boil Water Notice will be notified.
Scheduled Main Line Leak Repair: River Drive Tuesday April 2, 2024
DOWC will be repairing a main line leak on River Drive Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Customers may experience low to no water pressure during this time. While we hope to avoid a full shutdown, customers should prepare by filling bathtubs, buckets or other containers for flushing toilets, or for other sanitary needs. Should a full shutdown occur, residences affected will be under a boil water notice until testing shows the water is safe to drink. Customers affected by this repair will be receiving a notice on their door.
