As part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and quality of your drinking water, we are informing you of important updates related to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Lead and Copper Rule.
What’s Happening?
The US EPA’s 2021 Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) require that public water systems must comply with the regulations starting on October 16, 2024. These requirements include an initial service line inventory. To comply with these regulations, we will be conducting inspections and checks at the water meters and service lines throughout our California Pines, Country Estates, River Island and Tulare service areas the week of August 26th through August 30th.
What You Can Expect

- Inspection Schedule: Over the coming days, our team will be visiting properties to inspect water meters and service lines to develop an inventory of service line materials. Our personnel will be easily identifiable and will carry proper identification.

- If you have any specific concerns or questions about the inspection process, please reach out to our customer service department for your district.
