January 5, 2024: Tulare County’s contractor broke Del Oro’s mainline while working on the east side of the bridge. Del Oro has personnel on the way to assess the situation, and more information will be posted when available pertaining to any possible emergency shutdown. Please click here for updated information.
Contractors for Tulare County will begin work to replace the bridge over Capinero Creek in December 2023. Construction will last approximately four months. As part of the bridge project, Del Oro will be replacing its temporary mainline which was put in place following the flooding of March 2023. Del Oro will notify customers of any planned outages as the project progresses.

Service to the district has been restored as of 12/14/2023, but work continues next week with additional interruptions anticipated. DOWC will update customers when information is available. The district is currently under a Boil Water Notice.
