March 21, 2024 Boil Water Notice Cancellation

The Del Oro Water Company – California Pines in conjunction with the State Water
Resources Control and Tulare County Health Department, has determined that, through
abatement of the health hazard and comprehensive testing of the water, your water is
safe to drink. It is no longer necessary to boil your tap water or for you to consume

March 6, 2024 Mainline Break

4:50 pm: The contractor was able to turn a valve on Capinero, limiting the shutdown to four locations: 301 through 335 Capinero Dr. Water will be restored soon. A temporary repair has been made, and a permanent repair will be made in the morning (3/7/2024). Boil Water Notices will be distributed this evening to the four locations affected.

2:45 pm: Tulare County’s contractor broke Del Oro’s mainline while working on the Capinero Creek Bridge. Del Oro has personnel on the way to assess the situation, and more information will be posted when available pertaining to any possible emergency shutdown.

The following areas are known to be affected so far:

  • The lower Pine Flat Village area, including:
    • Capinero Drive (Only 4 locations: 301 to 335 Capinero Dr.)
    • Cedarbrook Trail
    • Fern Drive
    • Green River Trail
    • Old Crow Trail
    • Pine Flat Dr between Old Crow and Oakwood

When service is restored, the areas affected will be under a Boil Water Notice. More information to be posted soon.
