As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will provide support and guidance through various communication channels, ensuring that customer inquiries are resolved efficiently and professionally. You will be responsible for fostering positive customer relationships, handling concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide information about services, rates and policies.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
- Document customer interactions and follow up as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely resolution of issues.
- Assist in any other customer service-related tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Water Utility Staff is considered a “Critical Infrastructure Disaster Service Worker” during emergency conditions; candidates must live within fifteen (15) minutes travel time of the Corporate Operations Office.

- Competent/experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to answer phone calls in a call center environment.
- Handle a wide variety of clerical duties.
- Able to deal with a wide-range of personalities in a professional manner.
- Good conflict resolution skills.
- Have minimum 2 years experience in a similar or related position.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Chico, CA area and have reliable transportation.
- Pass a physical and a drug test.
