7/09/2024 – River Island Territory 1 Do Not Drink Notice

Construction Crew Main Line Break

Del Oro field personnel were able to isolate the leak and repair the mainline. The isolation valves are currently being turned back on and staff is flushing the system.  Customers affected have been notified that they will be under a Do Not Drink Notice until lab tests confirm that the water is safe to drink.

We want to inform you that our dedicated field staff is actively working to make the necessary repairs and restore your water service as quickly as possible. We understand the inconvenience this disruption may have caused and assure you that every effort is being made to resolve the issue swiftly.

As a precaution, DOWC, with approval from SWRCB, has issued a Do Not Drink Advisory for Territory 1.  Please see the notice below that will be going door to door to affected customers.

Field crews have assessed the situation and are anticipating repairs to be completed this evening.

We are urging NO outdoor watering until the issue has been resolved.

River Island Territory 1 Mainline Leak 7/9/2024, 3:00 PM

We regret to inform you that construction crews working on the golf course hit and broke a mainline. As a result, you may experience low to no water pressure until repairs are completed.  We are anticipating a Do Not Drink advisory by the State Water Resources Control Board.

Rest assured that our team is actively working to resolve this situation as quickly as possible. The safety and well-being of our community remain our top priority.

We are urging NO outdoor irrigation until the issue has been resolved.
