December 22, 2024 – Tulare District – Grandview Gardens Boil Water Notice
Notices being delivered door to door
[BOIL WATER ADVISORY]
Due to a pressure tank failure, Del Oro Water has temporarily connected to the City of Porterville for sanitary purposes on December 22, 2024. However, with the temporary connection, the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water, the Tulare County Health Department, and the Del Oro Water Company’s Tulare District – Grandview Gardens Water System are advising residents of Grandview Gardens to only use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety precaution to avoid stomach or intestinal illness. Once water service has been restored, please run both your hot and cold water for roughly 10 minutes to flush your home’s plumbing before using the water.
Since Del Oro Water is temporarily using water from the City of Porterville, all previous communication about not boiling the water can be disregarded for the time being. Please continue to check our website for additional information as it becomes available.
