07/11/2024 – California Pines – Utility Pole Installers – Lower Pine Flat Mainline Leak
3:00 PM – Due to a recent mainline break in our area, some customers may experience cloudy or discolored water. Our field team has completed repairs, and the water system is now fully pressurized.
As a precautionary measure, we advise all residents to follow these steps until further notice:

- Boil Water: Please boil water before consumption to ensure your safety.
- Flush Lines: Run cold water faucets for at least 5 minutes to help clear any remaining cloudy water from your pipes.
Boil water notices are being distributed to all customers affected.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve this issue swiftly.
2:51 PM – 50 Cases of water are being delivered to the Seven Oaks Market while we resolve this issue. ( Availability is for effected customers only. Distributed, first come first served)
DOWC has been made aware of a mainline leak that was caused by a utility pole installers working in lower Pine Flat.DOWC crews are working with the installers to isolate the mainline leak and are also on the way to the area to address the mainline leak. Preliminary information shows the customers of the streets below may be effected.
