5/1/2024: Del Oro has received reports from two customers indicating cloudy water. Del Oro has confirmed that a contractor working on construction of the replacement bridge opened a hydrant yesterday, which stirred up sediment in the mainlines. Our field tech will be in the area today flushing mainlines to clear the water.
All customers are advised that if they experience some discoloration (cloudiness) or sediment in their water, these conditions may be expected and are of no health concern. However, please take care when washing clothes, as cloudy water could stain certain types of clothing.
Cloudy water may occur occasionally until construction is complete. Del Oro personnel will try to work with the contractor to minimize these occurrences.
